I've heard a lot of good things about Abbey. The fact I don't even have to go into a branch to sign up is a big win for me.

Abbey Vs Bank Of Scotland
I was thinking to switch from HSBC ( 3.2 Percent ) to ABBEY ( 4 .6 percent ) but just saw this -
Bank of Scotland - 5.5 percent . However there is 50 p per transaction whereas the other dont. ( Not sure if you have to move the money back and forth between the current and saving accounts as with HSBC and ABBEY. IF so probably they 50p you each time )
