Sorry to give such a non-pretty, boring, practical answer.

There is another which is not pretty but is practical: Syntap's TimeStamp.

    http://www.syntap.com/products_times...roductinfo.htm

My wife is a freelancer, as opposed to contractor. She works from home on a number of projects and starts / stops work on each as and when she sees fit. She charges by time and needed a way of recording how long she spent on each project for invoicing and - when requested - a simple timesheet can be produced.

It allows you to enter an hourly rate so you can see how much you have earned so far.

She has been using it for about 3 years and now cannot see any other way of working out how to charge for her time!

Sorry to give such a non-pretty, boring, practical answer.

SalaryTimer has a built-in PooTimer if you want to be really accurate with your calculations...

    Basically the concept is thus:

whatever your daily rate, translate it to cash. And then imagine having a pound coin placed on your desk at the appropriate interval by the client. (about every sixty seconds I guess.)

Of course not practical, but a nice desktop app to start in the morning with animated 10p coins entering a piggy bank every few seconds (the rate would be determined based on your daily rate and hours), would be quite a pleasant sight...
Can I get one that drops in 5 grand note bundles every few seconds?
