Easy one, all you need is one thing to do each day and it can be something trivial like going to the shops, dry cleaning, gym, swim, golf, diy job etc.
You will find the day fits in around that and you will often end up chasing around to get things done. Sounds mad but by the time you get up late, brekky, trash telly for an hour, check email etc it will be well into the afto and you will need to crack on.
Other poster is right, 2 weeks with no cares is sweet, it's usually spoiled by trying to get a job and thinking you might never get one !

etc.

Knowing you've got 2 weeks freedom before you re-enter corporate hell is wonderful. Most times between gigs, you spend all day looking for the next gig, so have no time to enjoy yourself.

Two more weeks waiting

This is why I never want to go permie again once I have this under my belt.

I'm still waiting to start my new permie position a whole month after getting the offer. Now I've just been told it's going to be 2 more weeks while they finish getting references and checking up on every perm and contract role I've had in the past 5 years. It's a german investment bank so bureaucracy is king.

I could have been earning £400 a day doing CRM work for a few weeks if they'd told me it would take this long. So far I've taken a shopping trip to New York, learnt to ride a motorbike and rearranged my house. I'm running out of useful things I can be bothered to do.

I'm so bored I'm open to suggestions from you lot as to what to do with the next two weeks. I expect at least a few sensible ones among the many, no doubt highly humourous, ones. Hey, if anyone needs a substitute .Net developer, I'm available.
