Won't impact your IR35 status. They have a duty of care under H&S regs to ensure everyone using their facilities are properly catered for, so there is no D&C involved.

And how are you meant to know that your desk is not going to cause you an injury. Do they expect you to be a desk engineer or a prophet or wot?

P.S. in case it wasn't clear by the title, I have declared myself outside of IR35 and am concerned that a document such as this could jeopardise this status. Thanks.

The company that I am contracted to are requesting for all permanent staff and contractors to fill out and sign a "my desk is not going to cause me injury" form, with things like "do you know how to adjust your seat", "do you require a footrest" etc etc. It is then clear that this will be used and possible training provided on how to adjust my seat etc.

I don't think I should sign this. If they insist on this I am inclined to write only in the notes section at the bottom stating that MyCo is responsible for the wellbeing of its employees and that this has nothing to do with my client. What does the panel think?
