It's quite easy to set up your company yourself and most of it can be done online within 10 mins.
I set up my company recently and it cost me about £80 inc VAT. I got all the useual documentation including a official certificate and few copys of the MOA. Keep the invoice for doing this so you can claim it on your companies expenses

Over ther -> on the right, in the CUK Navigation box, under the link Company formation. You may find a clue!Originally posted by biggieHi Guys,
About to go for my first contract and i've decided to set up a ltd company.
Somebody has already recommend a good account but they don't setup the business for you.
Was wondering if anyone could recommend any places which will take care of setting up my own ltd company. Is it something I could do myself ? or is it better to pay someone to set it all up for you ?
