The A1 form isn't a "travel" form per se. As I recall, it's the standard EEA form for "posted workers" to identify where they pay social security contributions. You could ask Sue@IPaye for further details, but I think they've probably misunderstood your situation (being an owner director of a UK ltd working from the UK). It will probably be easier to convince them, one way or another, if you're sharing advice from a professional that you've engaged to clarify.

Yes, they asked and I politely continue rejecting that idea. Still, I am curious if there are any edge cases whereby remote work could require any of those documents?
As for the forms, both would be needed by employees working physically in Austria, so travel would be involved.
I think there is a slight disconnect between the client's negotiator and their HR department...

Have you looked at the forms?
    Are they about travel?
Has the client asked you to travel?

Fully remote UK based work for EU clients

    Hello,

I operate my own IT Ltd company. A potential client from Austria requests that I complete and provide their HR with the A1 Social Security and ZKO3 forms.
All work will be fully remote from the UK as I don't fancy spending long hours with random, potentially infected strangers. In my understanding, that means I do not need those forms as no travel will be involved abroad?

    Thanks for any advice.

Working...
