That article is dumb, IMO. Anyone acting on it immediately still couldn't get it done before Budget Day, and probably couldn't get it done before 6 April, either.

Most likely, there will be a consultation, and if it is removed, it will be done in the next budget, probably with immediate effect on Budget Day. So if you want to do it, there's probably nothing to be gained by trying to rush it through before the budget, but you probably should get on it in time to have it done before November.

ER Concern

As someone who is planning to avail of ER this year, this concerns me. Is anyone else in the same boat? My current gig doesn’t end until post budget so I won’t have closed my company if this implemented in April.
