    If this is going to be meetings it would be all taxed in the UK. However if there are more than meetings it might be on the safe side to have divide this into two contracts. One for Switzerland and one for the UK, especially if it's long term. I had one contract split into two, with one contract for 4 days spent in the UK. It should be straight forward to do.

    I would PM Sue at IPAYE. She seems to be specialised in this sort of thing.

  • Remote contract with a few days now and then on site in Switzerland

    Looking at a gig which is primarily remote, but requires me to spend the odd week in Switzerland.

    Does anyone know if I could do this through my UK ltd, or if I'd need payroll/a Swiss accountant and similar.

    Presumably the nature of what I actually do on site is also an issue, if it's just attending meetings then I wouldn't bother with the Swiss accountant, but this is a grey area at the moment.
