    Mistakes Made pls help

Get the insurance and send the agency a copy of the certificate. (Professional Indemnity is retrospective so it will cover the historic work you've already done.)

    Problem solved.

And with that simple answer I'm going to lock this thread.

    Mistakes Made pls help

Hello, I am a new contractor and was very silly to not have not read my contract before I started work.
The long and short of it is that my agency is refusing to pay on the grounds that I have not met the payment terms. Which are to have Professional Indemnity insurance.

I have worked for 2 months so far and opted out but sent my contract in a 3 days after starting work.
The 2 months came about because I submitted my invoice 5 weeks after I started work but my agency have 30 days payment terms. When I called 30 days after submitting the invoice I was told the payment terms have not been met.

Am in a real pickle what are my options. If I buy insurance now would it resolve the issue or its too late.

Working...
