I'm still waiting for a supermarket manager to declare a major increase in earnings because he can now sell bendy bananas.

From what I see the UK hasn't lowered any taxes or bureacracy, they've increased it so massively that the fishing industry is about to be extinguished.

The argument is theoretical. "Theoretically" the UK can have a bonfire of regulations. I don't see a fire, I feel no warmth.

Most certainly BS figure - there would have to be UK bureaucracy which was labelled as EU because UK had to have compatible laws with EU, so in reality any savings (if at all) would be marginal, most likely costs would only increased over time as UK will diverge from EU rules but EU rules will still have to be followed for import/export.
