Exactly Continental sausages, especially German, are far superior and the only reason why I visit Aldi.

Compared to what, Richmond and Wall's?

Local butchers and farmers markets offer great quality sausages, especially now they're having to make up for declining restaurant trade accounts.

Nah -far too much meat in that foreign muck.

We do bring back a few packs of sausages when we visit the old country. Bratwurst just doesn't do it for bangers and mash, with onion gravy. But St Gallen bratwurst, Basler Rauchwurst and French Andouillette (which also contain very little actual meat) are quite tasty. Not superior to, IMO, just not the same as the British Sausage.

Well as Europeans think British sausages are pretty crap (apart from whining British migrants) and you can't get them on the mainland apart from specialist shops, then no real loss...IMHO, which doesn't count for much with Brexiters, the sausages I've eaten across various different European countries have much more flavour
