You didn't know whether it would be something you could just pass off as nothing or whether it was actually going to shape up to be one of the biggest hits this country has taken in the last generation. So I'm here to help. Just in case you accidentally forgot to check the consequences of what you did on that fateful day.
Well there's a tenth of Boris's £350 million gone already
The trade body ADS - which represents more than 1,100 UK businesses in the aerospace, defence, security and space sectors - told the BBC the decision [to leave the EU EASA] could potentially mean products and designs would need to be certified more than once.
For example, EASA is responsible for certifying commercial aircraft for service across the EU and some non-EU European countries.
When the UK ends its membership of EASA, it may need to certify aircraft separately itself.
ADS has estimated that it would take 10 years and cost up to £40m annually to create a UK safety authority with all the expertise of EASA, against a current contribution to the European agency of £1m to £4m a year
Forget whether Boris's figure was a flat lie, Homo Brexitis should have asked themselves "Will it not cost us something to do the things the EU does for us?" Like their Neanderthal ancestors they didn't, but here in aviation we see just one tiny aspect of the overall massive burden these mindless primates have dumped on this once noble country.
