Presumably because Turkey, Albania and Serbia are included in the FoM, Schengen, Britain has no passport or border controls, and Britain isn't allowed to deport illegals aliens from these countries, due to EU rules?

Yep. Brexit will fix all that.

As for fighting wars without USA, last time we both went it alone we stuffed the Argies, they got beat in Vietnam.
