Except the bit about who negotiated the treaty. Why do you think both the people you mentioned resigned?

For starts probably because those are the rules since the beginning!? A EU member cannot negotiate its own trade deals/agreements, therefore UK must leave or agree the terms to leave the EU before starting any trade deal negotiations!Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostThe EU has one goal. Ensure the UK suffers. What I don't understand is why the UK ever started negotiating a deal. I suppose the UK has to be seen to making some sort of effort. Though agreeing to discuss divorce bill prior to the future trade deal was stupid. As Farage said, EU negotiators have made the UK look stupid.
If you are married, you can't marry someone else before you divorce, right!? Nothing stops you to start a new 'informal' relationship in the meantime, the same way no one is stopping the UK to start some informal discussions about possible future trade deals as it has been doing with the US....

FFS Brillo.....you don't half talk some tulipe. The EU negotiated the best deal it could for itself and Britian did the same. The difference was that for the first year or so when Davis was in charge, he hardly bothered his arse turning up. Do you seriously expect anyone in any organisation to bend over to the UK because the Uk is somehow a special case ? The UK is a ******* basket case of a country with a debt to asset ratio that is worsening at an alarming rate. One of the worst in the world.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostThe EU has one goal. Ensure the UK suffers. What I don't understand is why the UK ever started negotiating a deal. You actually seriously believe that the UK will be better off having absolutely no deal led trading partners across the globe ? You're ******* mental.
