The great idea is to protect the British public by having no import tariffs on anything - we will have the freedom to do that.
Then after we are not charging tariffs on anything, we go to other countries to negotiate a trade deal with them, given that their exporters will get nothing out of the deal as we’ve already given them the best possible outcome.
