Never had quantities restricted here, only in the UK. Quite certain last a while back in DM bought enough to kill a horse, noone blinked an eyelid.

Fake news. Paracetamol are cheaper in the UK than Germany.

Apparently, the reduction in the quantities you can buy has reduced suicides overall. Obviously, anyone intent on killing themselves can overcome the limitations or find an alternative, but it seems most paracetamol suicides are not intended to really end life. Which is particularly sad, since if you do overdose as a "cry for help", the liver damage can often be irreversible and death is inevitable.

I kid you not! Turns out, according to the cashier, they've had stocks dry up as Brits are stocking up with supplies before returning.
