    So for a family of four there will be an increase of 68p....

    To put that into perspective it seems petrol has dropped by 7-14 p per litre - so any shortcomings should be easily covered.

    £3.11 per head? The biscuits to accompany the cheese course usually cost more than that. I thought this was a contractor forum...

    Due to the fall in the pound, prices are up at the wholesalers and cash & carry warehouses by +/- 10%. The price rises are not being passed on to the consumer in full. Small businesses have been hit the worst as business rates and rents have increased.

    F***ing Tories are just for hedge-fund gamblers and off-shore investors. They do not care about small business and they s**t on contractors.
