The best way around the "impasse" is to give the cretins what they want: a hard Brexit. The cretins predict that a hard Brexit won't cause a massive impact, we say it will. Only one way to find out. Let the chips fall where they may.
Fancy that. No10 has, out of the blue, just given long standing eurosceptic Tory MP John Hayes a knighthood. Two unrelated facts: he didn't sign a no confidence letter, and hasn't yet said he'll vote down the Brexit deal.
