What is on the table is not really "Canada" in fact it seems to be a hybrid Chequers/Canada deal, which not only demands 40 billion pounds, hugs the UK close to allow all the EU exports in, forces the UK to swallow regulations and in spite of that puts huge queues at the border and blocks the UK banks from serving EU markets.

You have to hand it to Barnier, a magnificient deal when all said and done.

Canada Deal is not news

Well everyone seems to have forgotten - this is not news.
Barnier was saying this was the likely offer a year ago:

Brexit: What is a Canada-style trade deal?

One large problem (among many) stands out: no financial passporting.
Not very much said about services at all - which unfortunately is 80% of the Uk's economy.
