Of course, the main advantage they will have is that they will actually have some fish to catch. Unlike the Danes.
So they voted for Brexit but don't want to suffer the consequences of not being in the Customs Union and the Single Market?

I am sure other fishing towns who voted for Brexit will be very happy for EU imports to flow in easily via Grimsby.

So what that's about is giving Grimsby "Free Port" status. A free port is an area excluded from custom and trade laws of the country that its in.
