    London Accountants

    Hi

If you are based in London I recommend Andrew Millet from www.wisteria.co.uk - he is a great guy and helps many startup businesses succeed.

Wisteria offer Inland Revenue services and are excellent Small business accountants

Let me know how it goes.

    Danny

I use SJD. Look at their website (http://www.sjdaccountancy.com) for contact details. Found them excellent so far, esepcially as they respond to e-mails very quickly, thus making it much easier to sort out queries during office hours...

I've been using 1st Accountancy for almost a year now and am happy with the service (good replies to any questions, usually very quickly) and the cost.

SJD, 1stAccountancy or Nixon Williams, according to reccomendations on here over the years.
OK, I am also in the market for an accountant and obviously I want to balance good service against cost for said service as thats the whole reason I am starting contracting, to make money, so I want to keep as much of my hard earned lucre as possible and pay a competetive rate for my accountancy services ..

What are we marking SDJ, 1st and NW out of 10 on this score ? I expect they are all good, I just want the best in the long term .. and SDJ, 1st and NW are not allowed to vote btw

On a serious note, any feedback on why you use the services of the any of the above will be greatly appreciated .. ((( little fish in a big pond syndrome )))

    Cheers
    MarkT

If you search the threads you will find consistant support for these guys.
Simon at SJD and Darren at 1st both regularly post here and a number of other members use their services (me included). Simon is also one of the resident experts on another forum specifically set up for and well supported by contractors.
Believe me, if they were not up to scratch they would get slaughtered.

I chose to use Darren at 1st.
