Taxes, NIC, PAYE and Stuf...
Hello. I have a question.
I'm an employee from a Portuguese company working in the UK for 8 weeks as a service provider.
My payroll, taxes, well... everything is in Portugal but I'm working based the UK under EU commercial relations agreements for the past 8 weeks.
My house/Hotel and trips are being payed by my Portuguese company also.
I'm now understanding that the company were I've been performing services will want to extend my collaboration with them as a permanent role or a contracting one but I'm thinking on continuing by my own since It probably doesn't make sense to continue on the company I'm in.
I don really feel in having a permanent role here. My home address (and house) is in Portugal, my child is in Portugal (where he counts on the taxes I have to pay), plus I'm going to to Portugal 2/3 times a month.
Can I have a limited company in Portugal where I'll pay my taxes without having problem with HRMC?
Because I'm trying to understand in their website and it seems after 180 days I have to pay taxes here and in Portugal?
And taxes on what? Since I don't receive a penny in UK territory (I FX anytime I cash money).
Would appreciate some guidance you all seem to know a lot..
Thanks in advance.
