Thanks guys at least it's not me. Now I'll try not to feel as bad worrying about getting forms in on time.

Persevere and expect the worst seems to be the keyword.

HMRC have been a nightmare for this with some of our clients, to the point where we've threatened to report them to the ICO for breach of data protection. In some cases it's been three years yet they still send to an old address despite numerous phone calls and requests to update their systems. No one seems to know anything, or be able to tell us why it keeps happening.

Old PAYE Address being used.
HMRC keep sending letters to my old accountants address, even though I left him over 2 years ago.
I've phoned the helpline and they've confirmed that the address on file is my current address and has been for the last two years, however I had a P11(b) form go to the old address a few days ago. There are no agents for PAYE listed.
The kicker is that when a payment got lost in the HMRC systems the letter saying "pay up or else" went to the correct address.
Any ideas? Do I have to hope the accountant keeps forwarding the mail and doesn't charge me for the service?Tags: None
