    That's what I do as it allows for reconciliation between what you think they owe you and what they actually pay you (which is not always the same thing...)

    It's just an admin process, I can't see it has any bearing on anything else. I would however advise that you create your own invoices for your own records, even if they aren't required by the client/agency. It shows you're thinking like a business, and you'll have them available should HMRC ever ask to see them.

    I would be ok with it, as long as I raised an internal invoice and attached a copy of the timesheet to it for internal purposes.
