Thanks everyone. Will have a look at the suggestions and see if something fits me.
I do like my accountants, but their reluctance to support FreeAgent / Kashflow etc any cloud based system is driving me to look elsewhere. Spent one full day filling excel sheets, scanning paperwork to send for 3 months work and decided that it's time I move to something more simpler and time saving.

I'm sure that any accountant worth their salt would be happy enough to work with FreeAgent, just ask them.Last edited by Contractor UK; 31 July 2021, 14:51.

Maslins
I use Maslins, local to me in Kent. No problems, all very good, quick responses to email so far. Love Freeagent - you get a running total of all your tax obligations and when due. I'd definately recommend either or both!!

Anyone else recommend me any decent accountants. The reason for choosing FreeAgent Central is because Barclays now offers it to business banking customers. Would love to see if I can migrate off a traditional accounting system to a cloud based one. Would definitely need help of an accountant as I am not too knowledgeable to set it up correctly and also handle all interface with HMRC.
We use FreeAgent (known as Iris Open Books when supplied via an accountant) for all of our new clients.
Regards
Sally

I don't necessarily think this was spamming. FreeAgent is a very good piece of software which some of our clients have been using along with others such as Clearbooks etc

Freeagent Friendly Accountants
Hello,
I am looking to shift from my current accountant to someone who supports Freeagent Central. I am quite happy to enter invoices, expenses, etc ( the book keeping stuff which I have to enter anyways - either in an excel based accountant or in Freeagent ). However I need an accountant on board for additional peace of mind, to double check the Freeagent stuff, handle compliance, regulatory issues ( dealing with HMRC, submitting VAT, year end accounts, handling any personal allowance changes, tax code changes, personal tax filing etc ).
Don't recognise anyone in the list of accountants on the Freeagent site. Any recommendation on good Accountants who provide a stellar service using Freeagent Central? Any to stay away from?
Thanks,
