Anyone know any more?

Did anyone hear any more as to what and why this happened?

Its a Creditor's Vountary Liquidation so someone somewhere has started it. It was an active business. Also, it changed its name from Montpelier Tax Planning (Isle of Man) Limited within the last year or so.

One assumes there is a reason?

Montpelier are a group. Here are some of their other registered companies:

It's my guess that they're just getting rid of one the companies that they don't use any more. Possibly the EBT one, who knows. There's certainly been no talk over here that the organisation as a whole has gone bust, although they did shed quite a few staff after the police raid.

The offices identified for the meeting at Abacus House Mona Street Douglas are those of George Noble Noble and Co. Isle of Man, accountancy, audit, liquidation and Isle of Man taxation services and Fiduciary Services including the formation and management of Companies and Trusts. - apparently he's an ameanable guy who would probably be happy to confirm the Public Notice.
