Anyone know any more?
Did anyone hear any more as to what and why this happened?
Its a Creditor's Vountary Liquidation so someone somewhere has started it. It was an active business. Also, it changed its name from Montpelier Tax Planning (Isle of Man) Limited within the last year or so.
One assumes there is a reason?

I have it from the horse's mouth that this is a non-story.
It is business as usual for all clients of Montpelier.
The fight against BN66 goes on.

Montpelier are a group. Here are some of their other registered companies:
Montpelier (I.O.M.) Limited
MONTPELIER (TRUST AND CORPORATE) SERVICES LIMITED
MONTPELIER GROUP (FINANCIAL SERVICES) LIMITED
MONTPELIER GROUP (TAX CONSULTANTS) LIMITED
MONTPELIER HOLDINGS LIMITED
MONTPELIER TAX PLANNING (ISLE OF MAN) LIMITED
MONTPELIER TAX CONSULTANTS (ISLE OF MAN) LIMITED
MONTPELIER PROFESSIONAL LIMITED
It's my guess that they're just getting rid of one the companies that they don't use any more. Possibly the EBT one, who knows. There's certainly been no talk over here that the organisation as a whole has gone bust, although they did shed quite a few staff after the police raid.
If I hear anything though I'll let you know.

If it proves to be accurate it looks like those affected directly by BN66 and those of us who believe in not allowing Government departments to pervert our legal system will have to get our chequebooks out

You know what they say about Assume - it makes an Ass out of U and Me.
Better to wait to find out what it really means before indulging in wild speculation.
