I would suggest if in doubt find an accountant who can advice and help you with any issues.

At least then you should have eveything in order and avoid any potential comeback from HMRC!

Since you are now under their watchful eye, why not pay someone who understands the rules to help. They can also tell you whether their services are claimable since it's SA only and not a company expense.
