and there were ads for P4 all over the bloody place!! Anyway to get to the point......I recommended a mate of mine to the umbrella company I use and suggested he look them up. He found an ad on one of the contractor sites for them but guess where the link led - yep, you've got it - to P4. Are these clowns really that desperate?

Knew I'd find this thread if I looked hard enough. Mrs Galt insisted I take her up to London at the weekend shopping

That wasn't the point, I was merely offering a suggestion as to why they get referred by agencies. It's not because P4 are any good (they're not), it's because they were on a kickback.Originally posted by TramlineDon't know anything about them other than what I have read on here, but WRT referal fees, what's your issue with that? Lots of other companies have referral fees, including agents who are looking for good candidates.

Originally posted by MordacAu contraire. They offer backhanders (sorry, referral fees) to agents, so you probably wouldn't be surprised how many agents recommend them rather highly.

is it me or are there a lot of hostile new people around today that havent even taken the time to read (and chuckle) at the general feeling on the board before spouting their views?
mad123, what do you honestly think you'll get in return on a contractors forum trying to defend a suspect outfit like prosperity who in the past have, from what i understand, "upset" or possibly misled a numbers of contractors in joining under the promise of increased riches?
and ozzie over in General forum is obviously on a wind up..
i know im not a veteran in this game myself but atleast i have the common sense..
just my 2p..

I didn't. Feel free to go back and check.Originally posted by mad123Yes I have only made 2 posts, yes it is the first time I've been on your site but...
they do not give referral fee's, I ask every time I refer people through,
Will someone else just call them and ask what referral fee's they give to agencies. Yes they used to in the past, They are the only co. I know that don't.
Maybe if you called and asked, instead of calling them "w@n*ers" you would know that.
I seem to remember it was £50. I wasn't paying all that much attention to be honest.Originally posted by mad123Please let me know how much they give, Guarantee I wont hear back from you.
Only those who opted to claim expenses without getting/keeping receipts.Originally posted by mad123I know they were bad in the past, but has anyone had a bad experience in the last 6 months?

Unfortunately they get deleted, otherwise I would happily post the text on here.

mad123 with 2 posts to his name, both of them defending P4.
Is he an 'expert' or does he use house bricks? (Vasectomies my @rse...

It's all a matter of context.Originally posted by Ivor1If you want a laugh, the P4 site has a link where you can have an online chat with an accountant (top right corner of site). I did have a chat but the took offence to me when I called them 'w*nkers'

In this forum community, being called a ****** is a huge compliment, particularly when directed at recruiters who try so hard to add value on our behalf and offer us a stunning service.

Utter crap. Just do a search on this board for countless negative personal opinions from contractors. Wouldn't touch them with yours...
