Which as you guessed it only pays out to the other people or for others property if you cause an accident.
It's often cheaper if you have a banger to get a comprehensible policy then put an excess for your own losses as the same as the cost of the car, then to take out a TPF&T policy.
It's the damn actuarial models that are to blame.
