    Always recieved an invoice in the post each week.

    Worked really well for 3 years. Online timesheet, online approval, automatic invoice prodction by agency.

    All the self billing agencies that I have used sent me a payment advice/invoice everyweek I worked. In addition though, purely for my own records and for keeping track of things, I do an invoice anyway but I don't send it out.

    you don't have to send an invoice to your accountants when doing the quarterly returns since i signed up to self billing, bit of a pain though!
