    Unlike PCG whose cover is unconditional, the only rule being that you are not actively under investigation when you join. Actually, not strictly true, PCG doesn't cover your losses, but since they have won 99% of the cases they've defended that seems a little academic. And you can get discounted Abbey Tax cover if you really think you need it.

    Also, of course, PCG don't sell insurance, they insure themselves against the cost of supporting their members, hence, no direct commercial interest. The other thing is, though, IR35 is not the only threat to your business. Make sure you are comparing like for like before going with a specialist supplier. Cost is not the only criterion.

    Accountax and Abbey Tax (both part of the Abbey Group) also provide tax loss cover assuming they are happy that your contract would stand up.

    Join the PCG. Stop worrying. £120 membership, around £600 worth of benefits. Life is a lot bigger than IR35.

    IR35 Insurance Policy

    After a chat with my accounts this morning, I decided that, despite its potential (but enevitably long and drawn out) demise, it may well be worth sorting my IR35 Insurance policy out again.

    I know of two companies that provide it Qdos and Coulson Pritchard. I would like to try and shop around a bit more though.

    Anyone know of any other IR35 insurance providers?
