Nice to hear jlambert.
Lessons learned for all:
1. Know who you're working through - if google suggests AN Other is an oily rag, then at least ask around as to why AN Other is seen as a rag of oiliness.
2. Get paid as often as possible and make sure every single payment date is confirmed in writing.
3. Don't give agencies any chance to push back your invoice, get it 100% right every time and demand that they confirm receipt.
4. Remember that your last invoice related to a particular contract is likely to be the hardest to settle if you're dealing with a shyster. You can't leverage the client and squeal 'business risk' if you're off site.
5. If your brolly is paid to process payments then make sure they chase as well. Some people on a site I know well were 2 months worth of dosh down because they hadn't checked up.
6. Nobody *really* knows who is who on a public bulletin board, as we saw with the bn66 stuff.

I had 2 and a half months invoices outstaning and can possibly offer a ray of hope. I talked to Networkers MSB and they look legit and confirm they have acquired Qualitas. I can now confirm payment via my umbrella so all is not lost - phew!
Just a pity there wasnt a bit more communication - have put us all through a lot of worry a bit unnecessarily! Although given the initial credit check response from my umbrella and other people's experiences of getting paid mybe we had a narrow escape through this acquisition.
Good luck!

This is making me very nervous now.
I hope it is Networkers who settle the invoices, but as they are not a supplier here either, I am not sure that they would without express consent from client co that they will receive their fees / margins.
Also hope that we will not be deemed to have been made preferential creditors if we are paid by QPS and anything where to happen to that business in the not too distant future.
Still no sign of any money btw.

Received no payment yesterday and nothing today.
Emailed Colin Gerstein direct who "assures" me that payment was made yesterday although he offers no proof of this and it's something he's promised many times in the past.
My client has also contacted Qualitas and has received the same assurances. However, they only did that after being informed by me of the supposed change of ownership. The client has been expecting notification from Networkers or Qualitas to ensure that they are set up in the financial system as, at the moment, Networkers are not on the suppliers list and hence couldn't get payment from the client.

Networkers International will pay us but i must stress nothing has been paid. They have just stated they will today. I have no reason to not believe these guys and im pretty sure they will want to pay up to avoid tarnishing thier reputation.

Must have been paid by BACS then. Who actually made the payment, as I have heard nothing?

Hi All,
I have just been informed of the following.
All onsite contractors were paid yesterday and all contractors that are no longer on client site are to be paid today. Not sure if anyone else has heard the same news but at least its a step in the right direction. im keeping my fingers crossed for this.

Has anyone been paid yet?
I am still a shareholder in Networkers International (purchased them way back when they were still MSB), as QPS are not returning calls I have a mind to telephone the CEO or even call their advisors Seymour Pierce, direct them to this thread and the fact that we have been told they have purchased the business and therefore the liabilities and see what happens.
If QPS have lied and said they have been bought by a public company when they have not, that is a lie which may cause them immense discomfort.

I am no expert here by any means but are Networkers Internal not a UK company listed on the stock exchange? If they have acquired Qualitas People solutions as the company has stated, surely this would have been announced to the stock exchange?

Has anyone been in contact with any staff member of Qualitas today? If so can anyone shed any light on this?
