Thank you guys. Any kind of feedback was welcome....even if to tell me I was being stupid. Glad I put up the prompt !
And no, I don't work for them - genuinely. Just have seen no mention of them anywhere on the net in forums like this and I know they do have a fair number of contractors on their books (people I know).
And Nodric - thanks....good bit of detective work. Appreciate it, even if it may not have been done for altruistic reasons i.e to entertain yourself

The cynic in me says that he couldn't afford REGUS, formed a new company and then moved down the road.
Google satellite shows a domestic residence, probably a small office, surrounding by a lot of building works. A search of the 337 BATH ROAD address brings up lots of companies, so probably a registered office location only. Also a firm of accountants seem to share this address, so maybe an offshoot business for a small accountant.
They only file a short form balance sheet, no full accounts. Why not I wonder?
The 145-157 ST JOHNS STREET address seems to be a large REGUS style office block. Lots of companies based there.
As everyone else has said, their website is amateurish to say the least, and any company with a few quid in capital would make sure there site was professionally created. This sort of suggests a back room operation, by an individual.
Anyway, none of this is conclusive proof that you should not use them, but where there is doubt you should seek clarification
.

quite possibly one of the worst websites i've seen. Surely the fact that no one has responded speaks for itself so i'm guessing either 1) the agency you're currently with gets a back hander for referring this company and thats how you found them as how else could you have 2) you actually work for tract management and are trying to see how people perceive you?
If it's number 2......................... you look sh*t!
If you're looking for an Umbrella look at the companies people tend to use and have no problems with Parasol, Contractor Umbrella, Crystal Umbrella etc etc

They charge 4% of your income with a cap of £50 per week. Why go with a brolly that charges a percentage? They have no more work to do for someone who earns more, so why would you have to pay more if you earn more?
They give an example: "if your earning £300/week our charge would be £12"
Apart from the grammatical error of "your" rather than "you're", notice how they give a really low rate example of £300/week. If you're earning £300/day their charge would be £50 per week.
They appear to take their fee out of post tax income in the example they give. I would have thought it should come out of pre-tax income.Last edited by Hex; 7 December 2009, 17:22.

They can't even get their webpage to show all the menu options on the same line. Contact us slips on the next page.
Very unprofessional.. Avoid!!!
Slightly more seriously, their web page is utter c*ap. There are just 5 pages on information, no log in's, no indepth info nor f*k all. You trust a company that can't put more than 5 pages on the web with your hard earned cash?
Why do you need any advice on that???

Anyone know anything about Tract Management?
Hi all,
Newbie here. I didn't spot a search function to look up the umbrella company above. Any experiences - good or bad - or any knowledge on them at all would be helpful.
