If the agency does not find out how are they to get upset by it?

Fsck em, if they were any good they'd have got you extended at that client.

It also depends on the time between ending 1 contract and starting another. If it's longer than 6 months you'll probably be ok.

In theory no, in practice though down to how well the agency worded the contract and the judge's mood.

Show a copy of the contract to a lawyer and get a professional opinion.

"Rehired" indirectly by Previous Client?

Hi,

A client I previously contracted for through an agency has approached the limited company I'm now employed by. The company wants me to work for the client again but I'm wondering if my previous contract with my agency precludes me from working for this client because it says that I cannot approach previous clients for work. However, I don't see how my previous contract can place any limitations on the company I now work for.

Can anyone advise me on whether or not my previous agency can stop my employer from offering me as a consultant to client I previously contracted for through them?
