    Yup,

    SJD are good if a little expensive and "re-active". I'm considering giving Nixon Williams a bash purely because they're £30 a month cheaper

    A few options for you:
    Nixon Williams Accts + Ltd Co formation = ~£70 pcm. Two days to setup.
    Abbey Business Banking - free business banking for life. ~2 weeks to setup.
    VAT registration. ~3 months for registration to come through.

    Some may say go umbrella..I say don't bother unless you're planning to contract for the very short term.

    I am starting contracting next week and need to get set up. Please can anyone offer any recommendations in terms os Banking, Accountants and anything else I need to sort out.
    Any help, greatly appreciated. I have seen quotes on here from people payint arount £55 for accountants who do almost everything for you but am struggling to find any myself.
