This is exactly the situation, as the Norwegian gov have a lot of issues with people coming in to work and not paying Norwegian tax.

I have a client who is going to Norway and the agency (or perhaps the end client) is insisting that he can prove he is paying tax and NIC in the UK otherwise they will tax him Norway-style which isn't good.

He is still able to work through his ltd co though. He just showed them his monthly payslip which shows minimal deductions for tax and NIC.

Not at all. you can pay yourself how you like.

you can choose to pay your self below, at, or above min wage, dividends, or leave it in the biz account.

how is your client even going to check that you have paid yourself as paye? its just a 4 wk biz trip, why do they want u to do as paye anyway?

started a topic Ltd to PAYE to Ltd

    Ltd to PAYE to Ltd

I have been contracting to client co for 7 months as Ltd co and i have recently been transferred to a project in Norway for 4 weeks.

Clientco states that i am not able to operate as ltd co in Norway and so i have to go PAYE for the 4 weeks i am there.

I have no problem with this as the rate is higher while i am in Norway but i am concerned as to how this will affect me with regards to tax and possible IR35 status.

    All advice greatly appreciated
