    I have a software development company on the side with a friend (one I do not contract through)– Solvers do our End of year Accounts, VAT return, etc.

    Solvers Accountants - just above Hayes train station.

    Have been using them for about 3 years..., but not as a contrator....but they do know about contracting, etc.

    jss1961 did you manage to find an accountant locally, as I am with Brooksons too and live in hayes. I wish to go independent and break away from Brookson.

    Or if anyone else can recommends one locally.

    Word of warning, when you approach the accountant, make sure they are they understand things like S660 and IR35. Find out what they offer for the money and make sure you go in with the right questions.

    can anyone recommend a good accountant around the Hayes,Middlesex area.
    i'm looking for someone whos reliable & not too expensive.
    i'm currently with Brookson, but want to find someone local who is
    not as expensive & can also handle my one man ltd co accounts.
    i don't think they're particularly complex, i generally only claim mileage,
    am registered VAT & invoice monthly....
