I'm surprised you've not been beasted a lot more than this. Can only put that down to the warm weather.

I believe most peeps on here use B&C or QDOS.

If it's only for 6 weeks (and not likely to go on much longer) you could assume it's inside and use that income to pay your salary for the year. As that goes through your payroll you'll be fully paid up on it. End of problem.

It's largely down to the contract. Get it reviewed by a professional. ( Oh, and expect some flaming to follow as this is a FAQ - I'm just in a good mood this morning ).

started a topic new to IR35: 1 question (i need help!)

new to IR35: 1 question (i need help!)

    Hi to everyone

I am pretty new to this whole IR35 business ... and I have a query:

I am about to engage in a contract, which is for around 6 wks, and it requires that i form a part of a couple of other employees (i am the only contractor) and carry out a 6 wk project - with 3 weeks of that contract being abroad, with one of the employees.

My other contracts have been outside IR35 (allowing for substitution in my previous contract, giving a project price - and the project did go on longer than expected - so it was all my own financial risk) ....

Though this new contract where does this fall? ... the project has been defined as all the employees (and me) need to do similar things to ensure consistency in the data.

    I hope someone can help

    best

    Pk
