Apologies up4it! Yes there was a notice period but it was not honoured by the client / agent. It was quite clear after they extended that the client didnt value my presence on the team with the £30 increase that came with the extension but hey ho, moneys not the point - a deal is a deal, right?

You're not helping folk to help you!
Was there a notice period? Did you work that notice period?

If you'd have taken action months ago, then perhaps you would have had a case - depending on what the contract says, and what actually happened.
The longer you leave it, the weaker the case.
You could sue for libel or slander.

What do you stand to gain? How much will you sue for? Why? I suspect you had a contract for services, but no MOO, so can you actually demonstrate any loss?

Breach of Contract
Hi Folks,
Question:-
An agent (months ago) on behalf of their client decided to terminate based on the grounds I had "been taking the piss with 2 hour lunch breaks" which I contested based on my own evidence of having half an hour a day tops & that of those I worked with who concur with this.
The contract states days not hours & that I am paid daily, there is no specification of any limitation, nor was there from the client.
Do I have enough to run for breach of contract - I really want to teach the b*****ds a lesson.Tags: None
