    They can only make regulations retrospective. The Family Business Tax (emphatically not Income Shifting) is a new law, not an existing one revisited, hence no retprospection.

    Of course, the plan is that it never happens at all...

    income shifting law retrospective ?

    Does anyone know if the income shilfting law being introduced from next year will be applied retrospectively ?
    I am thinking of sharing the divis with wife this year. Will Mr Darling come back to bite me in the ass ?
