No, you have to make some attempt to put yourself outside IR35 first. The idea of any of the insurances is to prove you are not caught, not to pay up regardless if you are. The idea of the PCG (well, one of them anyway) is to provide the ammunition to stay out of IR35.
And I realise you are not exactlly hooked up with the last 7 years of debate, but the PCG is not a f***ing anti-IR35 insurance agency, it's way more than that. Go do your research.

The chances of you needing to repay any back tax are minimal anyway, but if you don't want even that risk, you can get discounted cover for the appropriate insurance through Abbey Tax. You'd be wasting your money, IMHO, but it is there.
I don't think there's many that could say (hand on heart) that they're 100% safe from this poxy legislation - particularly in the light of recent cases. I know it's an attitiude to risk thing but I'm one of those people who's generally unlucky when there's a list of names and a pin involved.
Thanks for the valid point about Abbey Tax though.
