After the budget, the admin company I invoice through moved me over to an umbrella company and started deducting PAYE and NI which meant that I no longer had to worry about IR35.
But at a cost...brollies are easier but they leave you with less money, are worse than being caught by IR35 and put yiou at risk with the brolly going bang, who will be next after these? contranet, hyperlink, futuro, P4??
After the budget, the admin company I invoice through moved me over to an umbrella company and started deducting PAYE and NI which meant that I no longer had to worry about IR35. I'm about to start a new contract (extension) but there is also a chance that a permanent position may come my way. So I'm thinking about opting back into The Conduct of Employment Agencies Regulations to get round the clause that would mean a fee being paid to my agency if I'm offered a permanent position. DOes anyone know of a reason why I shouldn't opt back in?
