Previously on "Can anyone recommend an experienced UK Tax Advisor"
So without going into the death and issues I have been going through I just left my account submission papers to one side since 2019 - the company was not trading at all. I was away fromt he country and HMRC continued to calculate VAT and charges. I need an accountant to help me submit my 0 VAT submissions and hopefully get everything recalculated.
Would also need to do my 2019 self asessment as I informed HMRC that I was out of the country
I hope this helps
You don't need a specialist tax advisor in my opinion. Look at recommended accountants tab and make your choice. I would personally recommend Gorilla based on my experience with them.

you don't need a specialist tax adviser then. You need a basic accountant.
Not sure how HMRC "continued to calculate VAT" in the absence of any VAT returns.
have a look at the accountant recommendation thread. This is gonna cost you £1,000 at least I would think.
