Take a look at Begbies Traynor - they might be able to help, but no company prepared to touch this will be cheap.
Thanks, I'll ask them for a quote.

  • How to do a claim assignment in order to dissolve ltd. company

I've been contracting for around 5 years and last year I received a really good offer to work as a permie, which I took. I am now looking into closing down my existing Ltd. Company. The problem I have is that I've made a stupid decision one year before and I've invested through my ltd. in a P2P scheme in a EU country. The company that operated that scheme (let's call it X) has stopped paying any money back and I'm now part of a lawsuit in that EU country.

I now want to assign this claim that my Ltd has against this company X to myself as an individual, so that my ltd. will have no disputes and I can then dissolve it. I've asked around and I've only received an offer from a company that are willing to deal with this, but they are really expensive. Does anyone know or can recommend someone that can handle this for me? Cheers!
