Last time I was due a VAT refund (last year) I received a cheque within a month. If you make sure you’ve set up bank account details to receive the refund (I hadn’t) then they should send you the money directly.

VAT Refund/repayment timeline

I am planning to go through MVL and I am wondering what is typical timeline to get VAT refund. This is refund from final vat return and has bank details specified.
Refund is not huge..under £1000
Any idea what are recent timelines to get repayment?
