Might be worth asking on Mumsnet.
    Or citizens advice.

This doesn’t sound like a contractor question. Not that appear too many of those left.

Also. What have the employers said?

Maternity Pay for 2 part time jobs

    Hi All,

My wife is soon to start maternity leave and is currently working 2 jobs, both jobs pay £10 p/hour and 7 hours p/day.
    Normal pay is as so:
    Company A is for 3 days p/week - £210.
    Company B is for 2 days p/week - £140.

We are really struggling with how to work out maternity pay for these 2 jobs, she is eligible for both as has been there since Jan 2020 so that's not an issue.

Normally it works out at 90% for 6 weeks and then £151.20 p/w for another 33 weeks.

With the 2 different jobs should this work out as 90% for 6 weeks on each of them:
    Company A - £189 p/w
    Company B - £126 p/w

And then split the £151.20 as the days worked:
    Company A pays 3/5ths of £151.20 - £90.72 p/w
    Company B pays 2/5ths of £151.20 - £60.48 p/w

Or does Company A pay the full £151.20 and then Company B pay nothing?
Or does Company A pay the full £151.20 and then Company B pay £126 (90% as it is lower than £151.20)?

Any help would be much appreciated!
