    Why not set up an Amazon shop. That way you just have the manufacturer ship product straight to the Amazon warehouse and Amazon do all the heaving lifting for you.

    One of the books I read said that only get an employee once you can no longer physically do the job yourself. By the looks of it, you probably don't know what exactly that person would be doing so that could turn a bit awkward. If you want to get someone full time, you also need an accountant to get your payroll running or if this is going to be a time limited project, just make someone issue you an invoice for the work done. Could be the same as if you hire a plumber to do your sink, but this will be a data entry.

    You should consider the HMRC employment status checks to find out if the person should be classed as employed or self-employed. If employment status does apply, a zero hour contract can suffice your responsibilities as an employer, an HR consultant could provide you with advice and template of a contract for a reasonable fee.

    Those sort of tasks sound like something you could initially put out to somewhere like People per Hour or Fiverr. But you'll need to define exactly what you want done and how long it will take so they can give you a proper quote.

    You need a business plan to work out how much that person will bring in to see if it's worth actually taking them on. You've then got all the hassles of employment law/contracts and all that rubbish.

    I assume this is going to be pretty small scale and not really viable to get an employee in. If I were you I'd be working out exactly what needs doing and when and then ask around if anyone is suitable and available to do it cash in hand for a bit to help them and you out.

    Once it's started working and revenues increase and becoming sustainable then you can start thinking of something a bit more official.
