Come on - the OP's using Computer People and an umbrella. Clearly has no right to be in contracting in the first place...

Oh FFS. The problem is yours. You decided to trust a third party with the management of your finances simply because you're too lazy to fill out a P11D every month and because you believed a salesman.Originally posted by Unhappy ContractorThere are quite a view of us in this situation and we are all starting to get increasingly annoyed and frustrated with the complete lack of service we continue to receive.
Thanks in advance
At the end of the day, if this has been going on for 3 months why are you still with them?

After the recent budget I'd start your own Ltd as the writing is on the wall for brollys.

Anyone Contracting through No Longer Limited
Good afternoon all, I currently am contracting through Computer People and decided to go through No Longer Limited, I must say for the first three months their service was very good.
That said the last 3 months has been nothing short of appalling. They are consistently late with my payments, they give me every excuse under the sun, my expenses are not fully taken in to account and I am just generally left feeling like they do not give a sh*t about me. I spend most of my lunch break calling them, for what reason I do not know as they never have anything constructive to say or tell me.
One of the reasons I signed up was the salesman i spoke to was very professional and seemed like he genuinely knew what he was talking about. He has now apparently left, of which we were never told, he also told me about a new online system that would be coming in to effect, 3 months later and still nothing, and now I have pretty much no contact at all. They are always blaming Computer People yet their system tells me my money has been posted to No Longer Limited.
Is anyone else currently having these sorts of problem? I am just awaiting my monies from them and I will be leaving, and I would recommend anyone thinking of using them steers well clear. They are shoddy, unprofessional, unresponsive and exceptionally professional at holding on to money in THEIR bank account. Ironically I was told by the salesman that they provide a No Hassle solution to contractors and at best it could only be described as the most hassle I have encountered to date.
I do not want to set up Ltd again as I have not the time to manage it, does anyone know of or recommend a straight forward simple umbrella company??? There are quite a view of us in this situation and we are all starting to get increasingly annoyed and frustrated with the complete lack of service we continue to receive.
