There were cases in the US.
In the UK because employers aren't allowed what you did in a role and job titles are meaningless, unless you lie about qualifications and/or dates you can get away with it.

A breach is caused if a person dishonestly makes a false representation with the intention of making a gain for himself or others or causing loss or risk of loss to another....
....the main things that fall foul of this section are false or misleading curriculum vitae..
